DCDC earned another accolade after it was recognized for its collective safety efforts and for being OSH compliant during the 4th OSHE National Annual Convention and General Assembly organized by the Workplace Advocates on Safety in the Philippines, Inc, in Mandurriao, Iloilo City last June 6 to 8.
DCDC was represented by Leslie Eileen M. Ostrea, Management Representative Deputy and May Cortez S. Cortez, IMS Personnel, during the three-day convention, which was attended by over 200 safety personnel all over the country.
DCDC received the Safety Excellence Award for being OSH compliant with No Lost Time Accident for 2017. In 2016, DCDC also received the Safety Milestone Award during its 2nd OSHE National Convention in Cebu.
WASP also gave a Certificate of Recognition to DCDC in recognition of the collective efforts of all safety officers and members of the EHS teams in ensuring that safety is strictly implemented in all project sites and work areas.
Before the awarding ceremony, which was held during the last day of the convention, there were also 15 technical sessions tackling different topics on safety, compensation, research and emergency response.
